New Delhi: For all you video game buffs, the most awaited game of the year is here. It allows you to play God. It’s called the Spore.

As kids, we've all made strange creatures while playing. Now there is a way to do the same thing on your PC.

Spore, the new video game from the makers of The Sims, experts call it the most eagerly awaited game in years.

The game is so simple, even non-gamers can easily become pros.

Owner, Extreme gaming Ashish Gupta says, “It is a game of evolution. It makes you feel like God. You can create everything from a creature, to its home and its vehicle.

The job is to create, nurture and evolve life from a simple cell, into creatures who form tribes, civilizations and finally, conquer Space.

Sounds like fun? It was for Ajay Gupta, winner of creature creator who actually won an international award.

Ajay says “I read about this competition by HP and EA and decided to test my creative skills. I created Jojo, which won an award.”

The contest is now over, but you could try it by uploading your creatures to YouTube directly from the game.

If lots of people like it, it'll be feted on Spore's official gaming page. Time to buff your creative skills, people!
