Finding your favourite book is now just a click away. A Delhi based renting website, Friendsofbooks.com empowers you to locate your favourite book without having to search for it in different stores.

It's a simple process, all you need is a computer and an Internet connection.

Log onto the site and register yourself. Then select your book from their library and add it to your bookshelf. And within two days, the book will be delivered at your doorstep.

Making book-reading simple for you are the brains behind Friendsofbooks.com, Aarti and Manish.

"We are from the US and book rentals are common there, so when we came to India we decided to have something similar," says Aarti.

Friendsofbooks.com has been Just three weeks into the business, Aarti and Manish are already planning to take their concept to other cities as well. .

However, the pleasure of renting books without moving an inch does come at a price.

"The cost is Rs 150 for two books and Rs 300 for four books," says Aarti.

But, if you are looking at something that won't pinch your pocket, then there are other options.

Gutenberg.com allows you to download books from its collection of 17,000 titles whose copyrights has expired.

Meanwhile, Bartleby.com offers the best on classic literature, from Aeschylus to the Bhagavad Gita. And for the best in comic and graphic book novels there is Esnips.com.
