Mumbai: Who better to interpret the meaning of music than the legendary Zubin Mehta. Sharing his experience amidst the elite of the town, the music maestro is back in home town for a series of concerts and the launch of his book titled Zubin Mehta - The Score of My Life.
"We interpret music that covers 400 years," says he.
The book was inaugurated by his good friend and industralist Ratan Tata who had some interesting insight to share about his friendship with Mehta.
"I lost touch with Zubin until he emerged as a conductor in Los Angeles. That's where I was reunited with him. I sat quietly in his dressing room where he was conversing with Andre P and there after Zubin and I have been somewhat in touch. We are also proud of what Zubin has managed to do on a global basis," said Ratan Tata.
Priced at a mere Rs 395, Zubin Mehta - The Score of My Life is a book worth a read for music enthusiasts as it gives a great insight about the maestro's life and his symphonic journey.
