Mumbai: Markets are trading in green but have given up its morning gains. Earlier markets have ignored higher inflation number but not able to sustain its higher gains as power, oil & gas, realty and banking stocks are witnessing heavy selling pressure.

However, some buying interest has been seen in capital goods and pharma stocks.

At 0150 hrs, IST, the Sensex was up 29 points or 0.91% at 16493, and the Nifty up 5 points at 4849.

Top gainers on the Sensex are Ranbaxy Labs, HDFC, BHEL and L&T.

However, Jaiprakash Asso, Ambuja Cements, Reliance and ICICI Bank are top losers on the Sensex.

L&T, Reliance and Tata Steel are most active stocks on the Sensex.

Market cues:
