New Delhi: Inflation is sharply seeping into the common man's plate and after vegetables, now even burgers and pizzas have got more expensive.
Your pizza has just got costlier. Fast food chains in the country have hiked prices because the prices of vegetables, cheese and even the pizza dough have gone up. Most varieties of pizzas and burgers will cost at least 10-12 per cent extra.
Prices of a Domino Double Cheese Margarita has gone up from Rs 310 to Rs 320 and at the lower end, the price of a McDonalds Chicken Mc Grill has gone up from Rs 20 to Rs 30.
Some food chains like the KFC and Pizza Hut are giving combo offer to lessen the effect, however, the customers are still grumbling.
Fast food companies say the prices are likely to go up further in the coming months, which is a sure sign that inflation is hitting every consumer at every level.
