Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan starer Shoebite is making news even before it's shooting schedule has ended. As In a case of alleged copyright infringement in the Delhi High Court has restrained from further shooting the film Shoebite starring Amitabh Bachchan.

This, after Percept Picture Company alleged that they were the original copyright holders of the film's script.

The Delhi High Court on July 18 granted an injunction restraining the makers of the film from going ahead with this film directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

Trouble started after Percept Pictures approached the court stating that they were the original owners of the film's script, and that Percept had already made advance payments to both film's director and Big B for their project titled Johnnie Walker.

"The idea was to get their attention which hopefully we have got and we are very keen on actually finding a solution. So our idea is not to hurt someone or cause a financial loss to someone," says joint MD, Percept Picture Co, Shailendra Singh.

Percept was even willing to make the same film with Anil Kapoor but they dropped the idea after discovering the similarities between Johnnie Walker and Shoebite.

UTV Motion Pictures has refused to comment on the issue saying they haven't recevied any court orders regarding the case yet. Seventy five per cent of the film is reportedly complete and UTV may now be looking to settle the case out of court.
