Utpal Work out this math...... pace of technology makes it possible for one person to do four persons' work.......Four-time growth of output acts as the fodder for four-fold acceleration of technolgy.....that makes it possible for one person to do four persons' work.......Story about the chessboard and the bagsful of wheat? What? In the late 1960s they were talking about a three-day weekend.....come to think about it...

Srikanth Excellently written!! Captures the demands of modern day professionals who are required to be supermen/women just to be able to do their normal jobs. Hats off to Suhasini and all other people who not only do this but also come out cheerful, clear and pleasant to do their on-screen roles. Another aspect in Journalism that requires an additional pat on the back is the kind of content that they have to often deal with. To be able to do what you are doing and having to go through several unpleasant news and details, yet appear like you do...Simply Outstanding! The one aspect that I do wish that is corrected though is the sensational style reporting on crimes especially during prime time. It is unnecessary and, in my opinion, to be tackled at the right level by the right people without generally creating an overall umpleasant sensation in society. The reinforcement of positive aspects constantly has the power to bring in positive changes in society.

All the best to Suahsini and her fellow professionals! here is hoping that you have a device in the future soon that will put your three cell phones, laptop, camera etc. all in one easy to carry device and once that be controlled by thought! and GUI that has a Winnie the Pooh interface!

All the best.

Pesi Padshah Delightful essay. As for the question: “If the new age is about communication made quicker, then why are mobile phones and blackberries taking up all of our time?” – the answer must have something to do with Parkinson’s law which states that “work expands, to fill time”

Hindol Sengupta Suhasini Haider, my dear, you write the funniest, most warm blogs. As usual, you are working too hard! And yet, all the Aquarian humour is pouring out, how lovely! And you are right about all this equipment carrying thing - it sucks! I'm trying to get some vertical lift in the ol' career so that I can pull rank and get out of carrying stuff - but it never works. Have fun in Islamabad, big hug. See you soon in Delhi and TiddlyPom.

Suparn Heheh...! It's all a kind of a... you know... never mind!
(What's your age, btw? I am 35, never married.) (Are you too 35? Actually age matters to me a lot, which has to be very much equal.)
Thx.
