rangya max Exactly you belong to BOMBAY. And that exists no longer. In fact it has never existed. For me it has never existed. It was always those outsiders (who as it is never care where they lived as long as the money kept coming) who referred to the city as Bombay. Mainly for style...being different (probably they romanticised with the name...the colonial hangover...anything British is good...even it is barbage! But we will eat that...because its British and different from the vernacular)That is in the blood of Indians...to fight for what is not theirs and kick what is naturally their own!! This Ms Shetty, was born in the city and bred in the same colonial schools like Bombay Scottish and the likes... (the aim of all these schools was to produce students with a mentality to serve the empire)does not want to be told about how to refer to her birthplace? Probably she is also romanticising with the dream...its different from Marathi crowd... and from Kannada crowd (Shetty...right?).She is from a generation which talks too much... (ask her office mates)and does very little (what have you done for the city? Run a marathon, once a year in front of the camera? that is all?)
SALAAM BOMBAY? SWAGATAM BENAGALURU! (I hope Ms Shetty was not born in Bengaluru!)
