Not Found Not Found Not Found Red communists are dinosaurs. Their thought process is increasingly being ghetto style. They never seem to have a solution for anything. Just protecting jobs of govt employees and their union brothers. They dont care for non govt , which form bulk of employees in India. They are bringing India to a standstill with their useless and dramatized policies. There may be some merit in thinking on some of the issues they raise, but beyond that they are the party poopers..who only understand protests. these set of OLD MEN should retire. I hope Prakash Karat will be taught a lesson. I dont care if CONGRESS WINS or BJP next time as their economic and reform policies are laregly the same, but these idiots should be decimated...wiped...finished. Congress would do well to tie up with BJP in Bengal and Kerala and wipe these buggers out.

In hell they may rot, these chinese feet lickers

I hope those communists are reading this...coz i cannot come back to an india where people like Bardhan are even close to power...its people like manmohan singh and chidambaram who are taking us forward

vikram Sriram Sriram Sagarika, I appreciate your thought on left parties. It's a crime to get elected and still not participate actively in serving people.Communists should be banned for this attitude......

arunkumar kembhavi kembhavi Sagarika, great piece of article!
I wonder why dont you say all this on the face of Karat, Bardhan and other left leaders in 'Face the Nation'. Let them know what they are doing and let them know what the anguish of the people of India against Leftists. Its high time we outsource these comrades to China. I fail to understand, even the Chinese govt is so wide open to globalization and other reforms. Then what the hell is with these people? I am ashamed to say that the people of WB,Kerala and Tripura have elected 60 MPs to the Parliament which is a huge number in politics. What were they thinking when casting vote? I pray to God to give them knowledge to not to elect even a single candidate from these left parties. In the coming days, the people of India should assume that whatever the Leftists are opposing is good for India. I hope all these grey haired red monks take voluntary retirement and save India from blunders. May the soul of Marx rest in peace and may never return to earth!

Vivek Tamhane Tamhane So very true - The Communist in India are the only communists left in the World today ! Go to China and you will see how capitalism can be adopted by Communist regimes.
CPM/CPI is the most outdated party Globally, today. A Party which calls for a Bundh in the State that it rules - shows their attitude towards productivity and progress. They deserve to be ostracized from the New India.

Vivek Tamhane.

Ajit S S It's a shame that the left parties do not identify themselves with billions of Indians. It almost seems like the left are no longer relavant to today's India. They have missed yet another opportunity. Wake up to realise the irrelavance of your much strongly held 'so-called' convictions and ideologies are hamper the growth of the country. Raise up above politics and look forward comorades!

Vivek Acharya Acharya Hi Sagarika, i must say that you summed it better than most could so very well done. To add a bit more, its inherent in the character of the communist ideology to play backroom politics. They would never crave to rule from the front because that would have them accountable. The Leftists very well know that the people of India apart from 2 states do not like them so they alwayz shy from coming in the forefront. Take the case of Russia, China and Cuba, they never comment from the forefront on international issues but from the behind they play the power game just as China was desperate to sabotage the nuclear deal and alwayz plays against India's interests on world platforms. We all know of the Jyoti Basu incident in 1996. Being a resident of Bengal, i can tell you that the left is no less communal but in a slightly different sense. It pitches the middle, lower middle and poor class of people against the upper middle class and rich class. It wins elections in West Bengal on "economic hatred" It also spreads hatred against certain communities which are percieved to be rich, though its not alwayz true.So i find this talk of "moral high ground" of the Left quite a hogwash. Its important that we start looking at "secularism" from a broader perspective rather than just a "Hindu-Muslim" angle. Finally want to thank you for bringing a true view of the Leftists to the people through this blog.

ashok ghosh ghosh Hail Mr PM!!!!.. I would like to congratulate our hon'ble PM to show the prowess to shrug off Left's bizzarre threats for a break up and let it go with the NUKE Deal.. As a responsible citizen of India I sincerely believe Nuclear deal (if ever completes) might be the most fortunate thing would have happened to India. Now Left should run to save their face .. they now lands in a 'No man's land'.. I would wish Mr. PM my best wishes for showing Green signal to Nuke-deal.
